DF-2: Mexican vintage textiles and Saltillo serapes (sarapes), a beautiful woven textile featuring the symbols of the Mexican flag, with wonderful color combinations, Oaxaca, c. 1940's. The depiction of the Mexican eagle with a snake in its mouth is very dramatic. Condition is very good; there is one small stain, about the size of a dime. Size: 78 inches long by 59 1/2 inches wide. The textile is woven in two panels which are then carefully sewn together. Price: $550.
DE-2: New Mexican vintage textiles and serapes (sarapes), a beautiful vintage Chimayo textile with lovely colors and design, Chimayo, Northern New Mexico, c. 1930. The textile has wool dyed with cochineal and also natural wools. The center medallion is simple and very elegant. Condition is good, given the age of the piece; the fringe on the ends is missing and there are minor areas of wear. Size: 90 inches long by 38 3/4 inches wide. Price: $625.
DE-8: Mexican vintage textiles, and Mexican vintage Saltillo serapes (sarapes), a very beautiful and finely woven Saltillo serape with lovely shades of orange and an intricate and very fine center medallion, c. 1940's. The lovely center medallion is complemented by decorative bands at each end. Condition is very good, and the fringe at each end is fully intact. Size: 80 1/4 inches long by 36 1/2 inches wide. DC-14: Mexican vintage textiles, and Mexican vintage Saltillo serapes (sarapes) and huipiles, a wonderful and very colorful Saltillo-style serape with a beautiful center medallion and embroidery between bands of color, c. 1940's. The use of embroidery or needle point makes this serape quite rare. Condition is very good. Size: 76 1/2 inches long by 38 1/4 inches wide. Price: $599.
CZ-7: Mexican vintage textiles, and Mexican vintage Saltillo serapes (sarapes), a lovely and very finely woven Saltillo serape with a beautiful cream-colored background and beautiful color-combination, c. 1940. The serape is a fine example of fine Mexican weaving!

CX-11: Mexican vintage textiles, serapes (sarapes) and huipiles, a stunning dress ensemble (blouse and matching skirt), beautifully embroidered and with needlepoint at borders, Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas, c. 1940. The set is beautifully decorated, and the colors are spectacular.
Condition is very good. Size: 16 1/4 inches wide, side to side measured under the arms of the blouse. The skirt is 27 inches wide and 37 inches long. Price: $875.
CX-12: Mexican vintage textiles, serapes (sarapes), and huipiles, a beautiful, large hand-woven textile, Tlaxcala, c. 1940. The textile is very finely woven, and the floral decorations are beautiful. The textile could easily be hung on a wall, or it would make a lovely cover for a bed or couch. Condition is good; there are very minor discolorations; the piece has never been cleaned which seems unnecessary given the beauty of the textile. Size: 76 inches long by 46 1/2 inches wide. CW-5: Mexican vintage textiles, and Mexican vintage sarapes (serapes) and huipiles, a beautiful vintage textile from the city of Texcoco, with an indigo blue field and lovely center medallion, Texcoco, c. 1930. The style is that of a vintage Texcoco textile, and the weaving and colors are excellent. Condition is very good, given the age of the piece. Size: 74 1/2 inches long by 52 inches wide.

CV-6: Guatemalan vintage textiles and huipiles (blouses), a very lovely huipil made of artecela, a blend of cotton and silk, with beautiful brocade embroidery on front and back, San Rafael Petzal, Guatemala, c. 1960. The soft feel of the artecela, and the beautiful embroidery, make this a very special piece. Condition is very good. Size: 30 1/2 inches wide, under the openings for the arms, by 24 inches long. CU-8: New Mexican vintage textiles and serapes (sarapes), a very beautiful textile with wonderful colors and designs, Chimayo, New Mexico, c. 1940's. The weave is very fine and tight, and the lovely grey background and beautiful center medallion make this piece very special. CR-1: New Mexican vintage serapes and textiles, and Chimayo vintage textiles, a very beautiful Chimayo woven textile with a lovely brown background and fine decorative elements, Chimayo, Northern New Mexico, c. 1940. CO-12: Andean vintage textiles, and Bolivian woolen textiles, a beautiful woolen pancho with beautiful colors and design, and a very tight, fine weave, Andean region (possibly Bolivia), c. 1930's. This is a rare and beautiful Andean textile. The piece shows some age and wear, but is in remarkably good condition for its age. Size: the pancho is 44 inches long by 44 inches wide when stretched out on a flat surface. When worn over the shoulders, it is 22 inches long. Price: $299.
CN-1: Guatemalan vintage textiles and huipiles, a lovely huipil with very finely embroidered birds and flowers, San Antonio Aguas Calientes, Guatemala, c. 1950's. The weavers of San Antonio are considered among the very best of the country. The piece can be worn or hung as a wall-decoration. Condition is very good. Size: 27 inches wide by 23 inches long. CM-6: Guatemalan vintage textiles and huipiles, a lovely huipil from Santiago Atitlan with beautiful embroidery and wonderful colors, Guatemala, c. 1960. The blue background of the huipil is stunning, and the huipil is embroidered with lovely birds and flowers. The material is hand-woven on a back-strap loom. This is a collector's dream. The rug is decorated with lovely "whirling logs" designs, and the colors are spectacular. This is a very fine piece of weaving from Chimayo, a village in Northern New Mexico where Spanish families have been weaving since the 1600's. Condition is very good. BW-2: Mexican vintage textiles, and Mexican vintage Saltillo sarapes (serapes), a beautiful, large Saltillo-style sarape with a wonderful central medallion and beautiful color combinations, c. 1930's. The sarape is exceptionally well-woven of very fine wool. This sarape would make a great tapestry for on a wall, or for use as a beautiful bedspread. BN-8: Mexican vintage textiles and serapes (sarapes), and blouses and huipiles, a cotton shirt and pants set with extraordinarily fine embroidery, Santa Maria Zacatepec (Mixtec), Oaxaca, 1950's. The set is decorated with over 500 embroidered animals on the front and back sides of both pieces. It is rare to find a complete set, with shirt and pants. Condition is very good. Size: the shirt is 22 inches top to bottom and 23 1/2 inches wide. The pants are 29 1/2 inches long by c. 14 1/2 inches wide, with an adjustable waist. Price: $275 for the set.
BM-2: Guatemalan vintage textiles, sarapes, and huipiles, a beautiful Guatemalan huipil from the village of Santiago Atitlan. The huipil is of hand-woven cotton fabric, done on a belt-loom, with over three-hundred hand-embroidered variations of lovely birds. The collar of the huipil is a wreath of hand-embroidered larger birds, perhaps quetzales which are considered sacred by the Maya of Guatemala. This is a spectacular example of Guatemalan weaving and textiles, and is a discerning collector's dream. Condition is very good. Size: 62 inches long by 32 3/4 inches wide. Price: $750.
BJ-9: Mexican vintage textiles and serapes, a beautiful woven Texcoco rug, with wonderful design elements and colors, Texcoco (a city outside of Mexico City), c. 1950's. The design elements are wonderful with Indigo blue dyed and natural white wool, dark and light brown natural wool, and beige yarns. Condition is very good. Size: 33 inches long (not including the fringes) by 26 3/4 inches wide. Price: $195.
BC-8: Vintage Mexican and Latin American textiles, a beautiful vicuna, woven of very fine and soft wool from native llamas, with colorful embroidery integrated into the design, Peru (or Andes region), c. 1950's. The background color is natural dark brown wool, and the colorful embroidery truly "pops out"! This is a piece from a master-weaver, and it is highly collectible. Condition is very good. BA-13: Guatemalan vintage textiles, runners, and huipiles, a two-sided embroidered runner with lovely star-designs, San Juan Zacatepecquez, c. 1950. Both sides of the textile are very finely embroidered and the design, comprised of beautiful embroidered stars, is sensational. AU-5: Vintage Mexican textiles, and vintage Mexican Saltillo sarapes, a beautiful vintage textile from the state of Oaxaca, depicting the Mexican national symbol of the eagle with the snake in its mouth, Oaxaca, c. 1930's. The eagle is atop a cactus, and is surrounded by wonderful geometric designs, inspired by the stone-carvings in the pre-Hispanic ruins of Mitla, in Oaxaca. Condition is very good. AM-13: Mexican vintage clothing, and Mexican vintage textiles and huipiles, a vintage huipil of hand-woven cotton with very fine embroidery, Zinacantan, Chiapas, c. 1960's. The fabric is extremely beautiful, and the huipil is finished with lovely tassles of synthetic yarn. Condition is very good; the huipil shows use and some minor fading, which only make the piece softer and more beautiful! Size: 22 1/2 inches wide, side to side, when laid flat, by 25 inches long, not including the fringe on the bottom. Price: $275.
AJ-17: Vintage New Mexican textiles, a lovely woolen textile from the weaving center of Chimayo, New Mexico, c. 1930's. The weaving has a beautiful and very rare purple background, with colorful Chimayo-style design elements in various wonderful colors.
